YOU DESIGN THE COURSE!
Over the last few seasons, we’ve received some great feedback from riders about courses, and it seems most course features are loved by at least someone. We appreciate and rely on this feedback to help us design new courses to keep you on your toes. The Trifecta race in Girdwood, the Double Down, adding A and B options, moving more races to the Hillside, these are all efforts to produce the best races we can. But Arctic MTB wants to incorporate your ideas even more so we arrived at a brilliant solution: Put it to our racers!
THE CHALLENGE
Design the course for the Tuesday, August 16, race at Kincaid! Track what you think is a great route on your favorite app or device and send a screenshot of it to us via Facebook (@ArcticMTB) or email (). If the screenshot is jumbled or confusing, please include a course description or directions to particularly tricky areas. Please be aware, if your entry is selected, we will also need your GPX data.
Things to keep in mind when designing your course:
- Keep it rideable for all of our racers, from beginners to experts.
- Minimize road crossings and road travel.
- Mix singletrack and social trails with ski roads to allow for passing and decongestion.

Entries must be submitted by the end of business Monday, August 1.
